COVID-19 testing is available throughout Kings County. Contact your primary healthcare provider or visit any community COVID-19 testing resources

 covid-19 Testing Guidance

Updates as of January 9, 2024:

  • If you have new symptoms, you should test and mask right away.

  • If you do not have symptoms and are at higher risk of severe COVID-19 infection, you should test within 5 days.

  • If you do not have symptoms and have contact with people who are at higher risk for severe infection, you should mask indoors for 10 days when around them and consider testing within 5 days after the last exposure date (Day 0) and prior to contact with higher risk people.

 covid-19 Vaccinations

The updated COVID-19 vaccine is now available for children and adults. The KCDPH Clinic accepts most Medi-cal, Medicare, and private insurance. Please call (559) 584-1401 for insurance verification.

Kings County Department of Public Health is a designated BRIDGE ACCESS PROGRAM provider.  The bridge access program offers COVID-19 vaccines at no cost for adults 19 years and older without health insurance or whose health insurance does not provide zero-cost coverage for the vaccines.

To make an appointment call (559) 584-1401.  Walk ins welcome. For further information, visit Vaccines.gov - Find COVID‑19 vaccine locations near you.

Transportation to your vaccine appointment may be available through KART! To request more information, call (559) 852-2776.
